"Big congrats to a new artist on the scene, young saxophonist Michael J Thomas on the release of his new single, which we’re about to play for you. He came along with a big hit a couple of years ago called "Baby Coffee" which hit #1 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Chart. Not too shabby of a way to begin for a new artist, and he just released a new single which is a beautiful, haunting soprano sax version of the other amazing song from the hit film A Star Is Born. Now, most people talk about the song "Shallow", which won the Oscar of course, but there’s another great tune at the end of the film and Michael has done a beautiful emotional instrumental version of that gorgeous song. My buddy Carl Griffin the great record executive sent it to me a couple weeks ago and I just fell in love with it so I hope you will as well. We’re about to play it for you.
